Big Tree Conservation Project
Singha Estate believes that the most effective way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which contribute to global climate change, is through “natural absorption.” For natural absorption to occur effectively, trees are essential, as they can absorb and store carbon dioxide – a gas that accounts for up to 80% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Trees also help stabilize global temperatures and increase atmospheric humidity through the release of water vapor. Therefore, Singha Estate places great importance on preserving trees in all its projects and has established the “Big Tree Conservation Project.” Since its inception in 2020, the project has successfully preserved 63% of large trees (7 out of 11 construction projects), totaling 33 trees.
