S Angthong Industrial Estate, developed under the Eco Factory & Green Industry concept, is committed to creating sustainable value for society, enhancing the quality of life of surrounding communities, and preserving environmental integrity. The estate is developed by Singha Estate Public Company Limited (SET: S), led by Chairath Sivapornpan, Chief Executive Officer, together with the executive team, Komjohn Leepraphantkul and Sirithon Thamrongnawasawat, who joined in congratulating Chang Ping-Chao, Founder, and Lawrence Chang, Chairman of Unitech PCB (Thailand) Co., Ltd., on the official opening of the company’s first production base in Thailand at S Angthong. Unitech PCB (Thailand), a leading global manufacturer of HDI printed circuit boards (PCB), has developed its manufacturing facility on an area of over 56 rai, establishing the site as a key production base for PCB to be exported to markets worldwide.

The ceremony was presided over by Natee Montriwat, Governor of Angthong Province, and attended by Prateep Engchuan, Deputy Governor of Operations 1, and Norarat Rodprasert, Assistant Governor of Operations 1, of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). The ceremony was warmly hosted by the executive team of Unitech PCB (Thailand).

Chairath Sivapornpan, Chief Executive Officer of Singha Estate Public Company Limited (‘S’), stated: “This collaboration with Unitech PCB represents a significant foreign direct investment, aligned with Singha Estate’s strategy to build a strong and sustainable business foundation. It also reflects the confidence of global investors in Thailand’s potential. This public–private partnership plays a vital role in elevating the technology industry to international standards, while supporting the expansion of manufacturing capacity, creating economic value, and stimulating domestic capital circulation. The printed circuit board manufacturing industry (PCB and PCBA) serves as a fundamental infrastructure of modern electronics and is crucial to enhancing the country’s competitiveness. Currently, Thailand ranks as the leading PCB manufacturing base in ASEAN and among the top five globally, underscoring the country’s readiness to play a key role in the global technology supply chain.”

“Unitech PCB, a leading global manufacturer of HDI PCB, choosing to establish its first production base in Thailand at S Angthong underscores the estate’s strong potential as a strategic investment hub for advanced technology industries. The industrial estate is equipped with modern infrastructure and comprehensive utilities, including a highly stable power supply from three combined-cycle power plants with a total generating capacity of over 400 MW, supported by 22 kV and 115 kV power distribution systems to meet large-scale and high-stability electricity demand. It also offers a high-quality, clean water supply through an ultrafiltration system capable of producing up to 10,000 cubic meter per day, alongside environmentally friendly management practices under the Eco Factory & Green Industry concept. These strengths enable the estate to support long-term industrial investment and growth, while maintaining a balanced approach between business operations, community well-being, and environmental sustainability.” Chairath added.
